    Error when running

So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game several times. The same issue I get when triying to play the game is "Unable to load jit compiler (mscorjit.dll) is missing or corrupt."

These are all the different solutions I have tried to resolve the problem.

    1. Tried to run the games compatibility as Windows XP and Windows Vista

    2. Downloaded registry cleaners to find all errors and fix them

    3. Downloaded the mscorjit.dll file online and put it in the societies folder

I thought maybe it was my computer but I uninstalled and reinstalled SIm City 4 and it works perfectly fine. I am getting really frustrated at this point and have no idea where to go from here as I cannot play the game at all. I would really appreciate any help I could get resolving this issue so I could play the game successfully. Thank for any help!

Have you also tried restarting your computer? No seriously, it's a stupid shot, but a worthwhile one!

    Hahaha!

No, I'm not being sarcastic. Note that most likely, it won't solve this particular problem, but it's worth trying nonetheless!

If nothing works, clean your discs. That could be the problem. If nothing works, go to your game's documented code. If anything is missing from drafts or in a mini-dump, you might want to put that somewhere. See if there is anything on the internet that has the code... although it most likely won't.
