Customizing Rush Hour?

Hello All,

I have a few questions maybe you guys can help me with....

How do u go about customising lots in RH? I mean I like the buildings that come with it but for instance, the medium density residential buildings are plain and boring...what do I need to change this?

Plugins...what extacly are they? and where would I find them?

Just looking to extend my gameplay....

There is an option in the menus to choose from different building styles or to allow SimCity to randomly change building styles every so many years, but I do not know of a way to create custom building styles. I don't have the paitence to create custom buildings when I'd rather be playing the game.

Yes, I know about that option, that's fine but I just don't like those apartment buildings...For instance, I have a mid sized city (City of Industry..ok, I like California...lol) but then surrounding this city I have several small bedroom type cities with little to no industry at all and those buildings just look horrible to me and throw the overall appearance/appeal to the cities off to me.....

I was just looking to create some different ones or maybe even download some nicer ones.

Yes, simtropolis is definitly the best site on the web to get custom lots. Other good places include:

you coul also get the lot editor from simcity4.com and edit buildings fuction

You can download some mods from simtropolis. com. The network addon mod from the modds and download page, can really change how you play the game.
