    Hello Everybody

    Howdy,

I just remember I haven't posted an introduction, I'm Comkid, I love to code PHP and love listening to Owl City, and most obviously love playing SimCity 4

It is good to have someone else around here who codes in PHP. Sometimes it seems like I use PHP more than I use English.

I started developing websites in 1995 before PHP existed and I still hand code using a text editor (currently Notepad++).

Ken, hahaha nice, I use Dreamweaver, outside of the professional web development scene it is very underrated, I don't know many others who use Dreamweaver to code PHP.

I started coding webpages using VI and Pico over a telnet connection.

Over the years I've tried various web development packages, and never liked any I tried. I always went back to plain text editors. I like Notepad++ quite a bit. It has a few shortcomings from what I'd ultimately want from a developer stance, but it is pretty robust. I love being able to use regular expressions to do search and replace.

Dreamweaver has the ability to use regex for search and replace too I don't actually have a text editor, I either use Dreamweaver (cause I'm lazy) or Visual Studio 2010 (cause I'm lazy rofl) And the imporved syntax error detection is pretty good now

Yeah...a lot of people I know like Dreamweaver.

Oh, and welcome Comkid. Hopefully you are finding our accommodations to your liking...
